Dr. S. Ed Hoard, pastor

Ed & Gigi Hoard are co-founders of Eagle's Brooke Community Church. They have three grown sons and one handsome and intelligent grandson. Gigi is Chief Magistrate Judge for Butts County and serves at Eagle's Brooke as a member of the Worship Team and teacher in the DiscipLife ministry.

Pastor Hoard has earned diplomas from secular institutions in broadcast and electrical engineering. He has earned a master's degree in divinity and a second master's degree in theology and holds a doctorate in divinity. Ed has performed post-graduate study at Princeton Theological Seminary.

Ed has more than 34 years' experience in growing dynamic churches. He was senior associate pastor at First Baptist, Jonesboro and was senior pastor at Second Baptist, Griffin.  Dr. Hoard is Dean of the Bible College at Free Grace Seminary where he teaches biblical and pastoral subjects.

Ed's love and gifting are taking difficult biblical concepts and explaining them in a simple and understandable manner. His messages are relevant, exciting and always sprinkled with humor (At least he thinks he's funny!). Ed and Gigi enjoy travel to other countries and lead yearly tours to Australia and the Holy Land.

  Randy Hutcheson, worship leader

Randy is married to Alison and they have two lovely daughters. Alison is a speech therapist employed by the Butts County school system and serves at Eagle's Brooke as a member of the Worship Team and leader in the children's ministry.

Randy is vice-president of a successful Christian insurance brokerage providing insurance products to local school systems. He attended the University of Georgia where he played on the Bulldog's football team (Don't get him started!).

Randy and Alison are co-founding charter members of Eagle's Brooke and both sang in the original worship team. When the church grew to need a Worship Leader, Randy was the logical choice. Under Randy's leadership the Eagle's Brooke music ministry has grown to include a worship band, Christmas and Easter choirs, children's music program and youth worship band.

Randy, Alison, Morgan and Ansley enjoy family camping outings, NASCAR and Georgia Bulldog football (I told you not to get them started!).
